We are seeking a professional freelance on-site Spanish interpreter for an in-person assignment in Lexington, Virginia.

The interpreter will provide consecutive, in-person Spanish interpretation to support clear communication between the provider and the client/family.

The assignment involves a sensitive behavioral health or counseling environment, so prior experience interpreting in mental health, therapy, crisis-response, settings is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities Provide accurate, complete on-site Spanish interpretation.

Maintain a neutral and professional interpreter role at all times.

Preserve confidentiality and follow applicable interpreter ethics.

Communicate clearly in emotionally sensitive or high-pressure situations.

Qualifications Fluency in English and Spanish.
