FPGA Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC’s client to work in Tucson, AZ.

FPGA Engineer with experience supporting FPGA development, verification, integration, and troubleshooting within complex digital hardware and defense engineering environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop FPGA architectures and logic solutions in VHDL

Architect FPGA-based systems — determine parts, interfaces, and CONOPS

Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements

Verify designs using self-checking techniques, directed tests, and constrained random tests; track functional and code coverage

Support integration and debug from proof of concept through production

Work closely with circuit card designers, systems engineers, and multidisciplinary teams
