Summary This position is located in the Office of Specialized and Technical Affairs (IO/STA) which manages U.S. policy in specialized and technical international agencies, organizations and programs within its portfolio. Responsibilities Analyzes policy documents and resolutions released by United Nation (UN) agencies with stakeholders within and outside the United State Government (USG) system and tracks issues across the UN system. Develops U.S. cyber and digital technology policy positions, strategies, and engagement plans to achieve diplomatic goals and assure acceptance and implementation by interagency groups and across the UN system. Works with other relevant offices that have equities in World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and ensures that U.S. positions and engagement on WSIS are consistent across UN meetings and organizations.
