Summary About the Position: This position is located at the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), U.S. Military Academy, West Point. Located in the scenic Hudson River valley, only 50 miles from New York City, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is a four-year academic institution, and the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. Responsibilities Load food trays into heated food carts. Follow directions from a higher graded worker, assists the cooking staff when removing cooked items from baking sheets, pans, etc. and placing in serving trays. Assist in opening packages of food items and setting up on trays for serving or further preparation. Make cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients and pack box lunches. Perform heavy duty cleaning tasks such as ceilings, storage rooms, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, washing floors and walls with powered equipment, and/or sanitizing garbage rooms.
