Overview
The Cafeteria Staff at Cook prepares breakfast, lunch, desserts and salad bar for employees. Stations include: cooking, baking, salad prep, grill, dish room, dining room and cash register.
Responsibilities
• Follow proper food storage and handling regulations to conform to local and State requirements and pass Serve Safe• Maintain accuracy in weighing, measuring and portioning food• Keep work areas clean, sanitize work surfaces and serving utensils, mops floors, remove trash daily, and perform other assigned cleaning duties• Operate electric, steam and gas cooking equipment; clean equipment and pots and pans after use; initiate repairs as needed• Prepare high-quality food according to standardized recipes in the correct portions in a cost-conscious manner for a cafeteria• Take temperature of hot foods prior to mealtime on temperature charts• Keep beverages (coffee and tea) prepared for dispensing• Follow the menu plan, adjusting for...
