Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Dis‑Chem cash register and process all forms of payment.
- Follow Dis‑Chem’s customer service policies and 5‑star communication principles.
- Report complaints, compliments and any suspicious behaviour to the Frontline Supervisor.
- Manage cash flow, ensure accurate till balances and place cash in the drop safe as per SOPs.
- Process loyalty cards and promotional offers.
- Handle exchanges, returns and merchandise adjustments only when authorised.
- Keep the checkout area safe and free from risk.
