**Description:**

**POSITION PURPOSE**

Registered Respiratory Therapist who is responsible for performing various therapeutic procedures including advanced practice procedures such as, but not restricted to operating balloon pumps (IABP), delivering inhaled Epoprostenol, performing basic bedside respiratory parameters. Participates in orientation of staff and student training programs for Trinity Health which is a teaching institution representing the Respiratory Care department.

Adherence to the following schedule requirements:

+ Submits availability for a minimum of two 12-hour shifts per schedule period where at least one of the shifts occurs on a weekend (i.e., Saturday or Sunday).

+ Allowable, eight-hour shifts **only** in the following situations

+ After the minimum requirement of two 12-hour shifts during the schedule period has been met
