About the role
This is a part-time (1 day per week – Tuesdays) fixed-term role providing maternity leave cover within our He Kākano Ora perinatal mental health service.
As a Community Mental Health Support Worker, you will work alongside parents and their whānau experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy and early parenthood. You will provide practical, person-centred support in the community, helping individuals build skills, strengthen relationships, and achieve goals that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.
This role is grounded in strengths-based, recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice, where authentic relationships and partnership are central.
