General Position Summary:
As a member of the Product Development team, the position manages style-by-style pattern alteration for the assigned category by working closely with all functions in Product Creation (Merchandising, Design, Product Engineering, LO Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Liaison Offices, and Finished Good Vendors). Optimising garment fit and manufacturability through a consumer lens is the main focus of the job.
Must remain true to the end user’s needs and design intent, while considering manufacturability of the product.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Execute apparel pattern development – from design handoff to production ready
• Utilize block library to create consistently sized/shaped garments across the product line
• Develop measurement specs to meet required garment aesthetics, as detailed in the product brief and sketch
