Fire Safety Manager - Band 7 - Full time - Permanent
Working across both Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trusts, the post holder will provide Fire Safety advice and support to all levels of the organisation (including the Trust Board).
The Postholder is responsible for the development of Trust Policy on Fire Safety, interpreting the requirements of Legislation, NHS Fire Safety Policy and Guidance, and to advise the Trust on implementation of Policy and Guidance and to monitor compliance against these.
Provide line management and ongoing professional support to the Fire Safety Officers (x2).
Oversee and co‑coordinate a programme of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) in accordance with HTM05-01 highlighting key risk areas for the Trusts whilst working collaboratively with the Operational Estate and Capital Estate Teams to develop plans to address and minimise risk.
