FinOps Engineer

Description

We are seeking a FinOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure and AWS cloud environments to drive cost optimization, financial governance, and usage efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, finance, and business teams to ensure effective cloud cost management aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across Azure and AWS platforms.


• Identify cost-saving opportunities including rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot usage.


• Implement cost allocation strategies using tagging and cost hierarchy models.


• Develop and maintain cloud cost dashboards and financial reports for stakeholders.


• Establish budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for cloud consumption.
