Summary About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees. Responsibilities Serves as the Senior Responsible Official for compliance with Audit Readiness requirements. Advises the Commander, Deputy to the Commander, and Directors of current and emerging requirements, status of all applicable auditable areas and ensures auditable financial statements are achieved within the Department of War (DoW) and Army goals. Manages the financial resources and administrative control of funds to include appropriated fund control procedures.
