Job Description

A leading organisation in the agricultural sector is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their Gauteng-based finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core financial accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost allocations, intercompany accounting, and compliance with IFRS standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions within the general ledger.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

  • Prepare and review journals, accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and reconciliations.

  • Oversee balance sheet integrity and resolve reconciling items timeously.

  • Execute intercompany accounting, cross-charging processes, and reconciliations.
