Role: Financial Accountant

General: As a vital contributor to the Finance Department, the Financial Accountant reports directly to the Financial Controller. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across all accounting functions, ensuring that financial processes are structured, executed, and finalized with high accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Duties:

  • Compile monthly management accounts and comprehensive reporting packages.
  • Manage general ledger activities and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Post accruals and prepayments.
  • Oversee month-end closing procedures, delivering essential business metrics and reports as needed.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT, RTD, Intrastat, and RCT/CIS.
  • Coordinate weekly headcount reporting.
  • Conduct routine reconciliations for bank accounts, tax authorities (Revenue), debtors, and creditors.
