Position Objective
To ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by performing monthly bank reconciliations and accurate bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between bank statements and initial financial records, and supporting the overall financial control processes of the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and clean‑up of reconciling items from historical records.
- Match and verify transactions between bank statements and internal accounting records.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies on the given timeframe.
- Investigate variances and reconcile differences between bank records and the general ledger.
- Follow up with internal departments to resolve issues.
