The role involves visiting customers in their homes and other environments such as hospitals, care homes, and schools to repair, maintain, deliver, and demonstrate specialist equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is safe, functional, and properly demonstrated to users while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer

• Fault finding and repairing equipment in customer homes and other locations
• Delivering equipment and demonstrating correct usage to service users
• Collecting equipment when required
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Completing scheduled daily jobs allocated by the service team
• Responding to emergency repairs when required
• Providing a professional, courteous, and empathetic service to customers
