Job Advert Mencap are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Spalding! Due to the needs of the people we support here, we are currently looking for female applicants only. In this role you will be helping with day to day activities such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, attending appointments, checking mail and managing medication. You will also support individuals to get out and about in the community, doing the things they enjoy most. This can include visits to garden centres, trips to the farm, attending concerts and other social activities. Within the services, people enjoy spending time playing dominoes, taking part in arts and crafts, bingo and gardening, and part of your role will be to encourage and support these interests.
