Job Description

We are a vet practice that combines day care, grooming and retail unit. We are looking for an experienced dog feeder/handler with enthusiasm for small animals to join our established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will oversee the daycare/boarding unit and provide instruction to animals, condition them, determine their receptiveness to training and take care of them while at the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanness of all different areas in the facility under the guidance of the handlers, nurses and veterinarians.
• Clean at least three times a day the boarding area, including the rooms, habitats or sleeping areas, and familiarize animals with human voices and contact (applicable to both night and day shift).
• Monitor animal’s wellbeing while in the facility (daycare and boarding).
• Feed and medicate animals under the guidelines of the treating veterinarian.
