**Job Description:**

The Extruder Operator supports the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor in the setup, operation, and monitoring of extrusion equipment. This role is responsible for material handling, basic machine support, quality checks, and maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work environment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Assist Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor to operate the extrusion line on assigned shift
+ Assist with machine setup, startup, and shutdown procedures
+ Load raw materials (resins, additives, colorants) into hoppers and feeders
+ Monitor extrusion lines for proper operation and notify Lead Operator of any issues
+ Perform basic quality checks (visual inspections, measurements) on products
+ Remove, package, and label finished products according to specifications
+ Support changeovers, including cleaning and preparing tooling and equipment
