Position Overview

TD Insurance, part of TD Bank Group, protects clients with insurance products. This position is located in Hamilton, Ontario and involves providing support to customers immediately following an automobile accident.

Responsibilities

• Represent TD Insurance as an Auto Claims Advisor and assist in facilitating and coordinating a claim from start to finish.
• Support customer claims from start to finish: arrange towing, set up appraisals and outline coverage under the policy terms.
• Gather, organize and verify required information and documentation from all available sources to ensure a thorough and complete compilation of facts.
• Reconcile estimates from new and preferred vendors to ensure appropriate settlements are reached for damages to the customer's vehicle.
• Contribute to team productivity objectives by maintaining a positive file count and open/close ratio.
