**Welder - 1st shift in Dublin**
The Welder’s primary responsibility is the tig and mig welding of aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel parts. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the welding area.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Mig and tig welding, including the following:
+ Setting up welding equipment for voltage, current, gas flow, torch angle, tungsten dia./sharpness etc. depending on the various thicknesses of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel material to be welded.
+ Creating quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols).
+ Inspecting welds for accuracy.
+ Preparing product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting.
+ Ensures use of safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and any other applicable PPE during operations.
+ Change wire, and other consumables, as needed.
+ Change gas tanks, as needed.
