Responsible for all catering, group sales and the business centre's activities in the hotel, from booking events to their execution.
To prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control.
To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business. Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
To work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to prepare monthly forecasts.
To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
To ensure meetings and function rooms are properly maintained at all times. Liaise with Food and Beverage outlets concerning reservations and flow of clients.
