Estimator Position

RPO Recruitment's client, a highly reputable building and civil contractor in Gauteng, is currently seeking a qualified Estimator to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg as soon as possible.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building or BTech in Civil/Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or similar
• Between 6 and 10 years’ experience working as an Estimator in the construction industry
• A solid grounding in Building and Civil Engineering practices
• A solid understanding of buildability, resourcing required, and programming
• Familiar with standard conditions of contract for building and civil engineering works such as JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3, etc.
• Aware of the importance of specifications being adhered to in the pricing and submission of tenders
• Familiar with standard methods of measurement for building and civil engineering works
