Mitchell’s Livestock Transport is seeking for experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) to join our maintenance team. The role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our heavy vehicle fleet used in livestock transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service, maintain, and repair heavy diesel trucks and trailers in the fleet
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine faults (including Volvo and Cummins engines)
3. Perform preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime
4. Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, and safety issues
