The Department of Neurology seeks an Epileptologist with fellowship training to join the Epilepsy Division, Department of Neurology, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Must be BC/BE in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy. Primary responsibilities include routine, ambulatory and continuous video-EEG interpretation, participation in epilepsy surgery evaluations, evaluation and management of epilepsy patients, and teaching of students, residents and fellows. The individual would join a group of 7 attending epileptologists, 3 epilepsy surgeons and 3 epilepsy/EEG fellows annually. The program includes a 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for noninvasive and invasive surgical and diagnostic evaluations, a busy critical care continuous EEG monitoring service, Outpatient Epilepsy Center with innovative programs including a Women’s Epilepsy Program and First Seizure Clinic and a busy clinical and basic science research program.
