Job Summary

This is a standard technician position within the Department of Buildings (DOB) whose mission is to protect the safety of residents, businesses, and visitors and advance the development of the built environment through permitting, inspections, and code enforcement. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of technical research, analysis, evaluation, production, maintenance of projects, systems, processes, equipment, devices, and/or materials in assigned projects. Drafts plats for customer delivery in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and timely delivers the products to customers. Provides customer support through multiple platforms. Perform any or all of the following or similar functions analysis and research, drafting, filing, customer communication, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
