Primary Functions: 

+ Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve electronic equipment problems.

+ Reference knowledge of interrelationships of circuits and judgment in determining work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.

+ Execute principles of electricity and electronics as they apply to shop practices and techniques involving electrical and electronic circuitry.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, manuals, handbooks and technical specifications; sufficient knowledge and skills required to install, repair, test and checkout electronic equipment and systems using the appropriate test equipment.

+ Ensure work performed is in specific compliance with accepted practices and work assignments.

+ Work closely with supervisor or a higher-level technician for clarity
