Job Title: Engineering Technician

This person will report to the Engineering Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas: Manage a team of electronic technicians and electricians. Maintain electronic process control systems – hardware and software. Ensure that installation of new process control systems is done according to company standards. Maintain field hardware – loop checks/calibration, etc. Review process control philosophies and recommend optimisation. Audit process control programmes regularly and ensure that changes that are made are carried out according to ISO procedure. Ensure update information (electrical drawing, manuals, etc.) regarding electronic systems. Coordinate (program) individual machine output to optimise overall line performance. Ensure proper access control to electronic system. Fault finding and maintaining electronic equipment. Ensure current backup for electronic systems on the designated server location.
