Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary data engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership
• Mentor engineers through coaching, structured feedback, and clear career development paths
• Own the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, storage, serving, and observability
• Drive technical direction through architecture design, code reviews, and complex troubleshooting
• Set best practices for data modeling, pipeline reliability, testing, and data quality
• Champion an AI‑first engineering culture by setting standards for AI‑assisted development and LLM‑powered workflows
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, ML, and Finance teams to deliver against a fast‑moving roadmap
• Ensure secure data handling practices aligned with PCI‑DSS, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks
