Are you practical? Perhaps you play around with cars or have always liked being 'hands‑on' in life. This is a rare opportunity with an excellent employer based in the Eastern Suburbs of Christchurch. This is an entry‑level role that will help you build essential basic skills such as:

• Varied engineering tasks – cutting, drilling, measuring, equipment and tool usage
• Stocking shelves
• Sorting parts
• Tidying the workplace
• Painting
• Assisting skilled trades people

You will need:

• Your own transport
• Have a moderate level of fitness and be able to stand for 8 hrs
• Ideally have an interest or some experience in engineering
