Engineer (Electrical Distribution Control Centre) (Shiftwork)

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the Distribution Control Centre (DCC)
• Carry out remote operation of High Tension (HT) networks
• Attend to HT network incidents
• Handle difficult customers and complaints
• Ensure all event reports in the system are signed off promptly
• Ensure the efficient management of the Fire Alarm Monitoring Station (DECAM) at DCC
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports for submission to management
• Prepare incident reports on HT outages and voltage dip for submission to regulator
• Assist in managing system upgrading for DCC and Electricity Service Centre (ESC)
• Assist in OHSAS certification for Distribution Control & Customer Services (DCCS)
• Assist in ISO certification ISO 9001:2015
