Position Summary

The Emergency Management Program Coordinator supports the University at Buffalo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) by assisting with the organization, implementation, and use of the Incident Command System (ICS) for campus incidents and emergencies. Reporting to the Director of (EH&S), this role functions in a supporting, coordination-focused capacity, providing assistance with emergency preparedness activities, response coordination, recovery planning, and continuity efforts across a large, complex academic institution. This position is an individual contributor role, does not exercise independent decision-making authority, and does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
