The Emergency Department at Plainfield is a free standing 12 bed unit, part of Backus hospital’s emergency room that cares for patients across the spectrum of age, health, education, etc. The staff includes Registered Nurses, emergency department technicians, Unit Secretaries, Physicians, Mid-Level practitioners, support staff, Public Safety Officers, and in-department radiology.
