The Electrical Engineer (EDM) is responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical circuits and systems for Electrical Discharge Machines (EDMs). The role supports Makino Asia’s R&D objectives by ensuring reliable, high-performance, and safe electrical designs that meet product, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and review electrical schematics and circuit designs for EDM machines, including power supply, discharge circuits, control panels, and safety circuits.
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of EDM systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with design specifications.
- Support prototype build, system integration, and commissioning of EDM machines during development and testing phases.
- Analyse test results and implement design improvements or corrective actions to enhance performance, stability, and manufacturability.
