Electrical Design Engineer
Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. The role is based in the North East (Teesside).
Key Accountabilities
* Provide technical support, leadership and guidance to projects, operations, and maintenance.
* Competency assessment of site electricians and contractors’ electricians.
* Specification, budgeting and scheduling of electrical inspection and preventative maintenance, including HV / LV and ATEX routines to ensure reliable, safe and reliable operation.
* Development of HV switching programs
* Responsible for the application of appropriate electrical engineering codes and standards and management of any deviations from standards.
* Prepare cost estimates and business case proposals for electrical equipment/system CAPEX.
