The EEG/EMG Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic neurophysiological procedures, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and related tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. This role ensures high-quality testing, patient safety, and accurate data collection in accordance with established protocols, regulatory standards, and physician orders.
The technologist demonstrates clinical expertise, technical proficiency, and strong patient care skills while working collaboratively with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and clinical staff in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
