The role

The Sports, Education and Charities team is an exciting and dynamic team which supports a broad range of clients regionally and nationally across all three sectors. The nationally recognised team works on a broad and varied range of matters, from day‑to‑day legal advice through to a range of strategically important projects including mergers, collaborations and restructures.

We are looking for a solicitor who has experience of advising a range of education organisations including some or all of the following:

• academy conversion projects
• merger and re‑brokerage projects
• good working knowledge of the structures of educational establishments ranging from schools to multi‑academy trusts and further and higher education institutions
• experience and good working knowledge of SEND issues, exclusions and admissions, SEND tribunals, safeguarding and complaints handling
