The opportunity 

This locum opportunity is for Emergency Medicine PGY6 or higher. The successful candidate will provide front-line medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department for assessment, investigation, treatment, and referral. The hospital is a 41-bed facility with an emergency department that operates 24 hours a day. Near new accommodation provided, only a 4-minute walk to the hospital.

The location 

Located 114 kilometres south of the national capital, Canberra, Cooma is the largest town in the Snowy Mountain region. It is also is seen as the gateway to the Snowy Mountains ski fields, the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electricity Scheme and the Kosciuszko National Park.
