The Economist will lead forward-looking research on emerging economic and non-economic policy issues affecting Arab economies, including climate change, green finance, energy transition, the digital economy, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), cybersecurity, and public digital services.

The role focuses on producing high-impact, data-driven research and policy insights, leveraging advanced analytical tools and AI to inform decision‑making, support capacity development, and strengthen economic resilience and sustainable growth across member countries.

The key activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct applied and exploratory research on frontier topics, integrating AI, machine learning, and advanced analytical methodologies
