Early Years Playworker

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council – Blossomfield Childcare, part of Blossomfield Infant School, provides out‑of‑hours care for children during term time and school holidays.

Contract : Full time (50 weeks per annum with holiday entitlement, 2 weeks closure at Christmas/NY) – 37.5 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 8am‑4pm with 30 min break).

Salary : Band B, points 3‑5 (£24,796‑£25,583), dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Promote learning through play by engaging in conversation with children and setting up activities and resources that aid their development.
