Deaconess Laboratory Staff work in a progressive, highly computerized environment that performs services for inpatients and outpatients and emergency room patients along with a growing Outreach Lab serving the region. The health system includes six hospitals, more than 25 primary care locations and several specialty facilities. We have full-service Laboratories at Deaconess Hospital and Deaconess Gateway Hospital and more than 325 employees in the labs and outreach locations. Pathology Specimen Processor Job Duties

Receives, process and transport specimens: including the prioritizing, preparation and storage of various laboratory specimens.
