Research theme: Contested conceptualisations of forest in bioeconomy‑related discourses

Description of the research theme

This research project focuses on the ways in which forest and nature are conceptualised through rhetorical, metaphorical, and affective expressions in public bioeconomy‑related discourses, including works of art, advertisements, policy documents and textbooks. The project aims to develop tools to more fruitfully interpret and participate in these discussions.
