Distribution Line Designer
Job Description
This role supports electric distribution projects for regional electric membership cooperatives and utility partners by combining field data collection with office-based design work. The Distribution Line Designer contributes across the full project lifecycle, from field staking and route layout through design package development and post-construction inspection. The position offers a hybrid work model with roughly equal time spent in the field and in the office.
Responsibilities

+ Perform field data collection and staking activities for electric distribution projects, including gathering measurements, documenting existing conditions, and identifying optimal line routes.

+ Develop detailed electric distribution line designs using AutoCAD and/or GIS software, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design standards.
