What is the opportunity? RBC’s Mid-Market M&A team advises private companies on divestitures, acquisitions, buyouts and carveouts. We are Canada’s largest dedicated Mid-Market M&A team within RBC’s Corporate Client Group in Commercial Banking. As a Director, you will assume day‑to‑day responsibility for pitch support, end‑to‑end transaction execution, and the development of team marketing materials as part of a dynamic team guided by Regional Leaders and supported by Associate Directors and Analysts. This role combines technical expertise, project and client relationship management, and leading small high‑performing deal teams.

What will you do?

Support Senior Directors and Managing Directors in originating, pitching and winning M&A mandates by building trust with entrepreneurial clients and leveraging RBC’s platform

Advise business owners on complex transactions, guiding them through negotiation and closing processes
