The Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) is a 17-member regional intergovernmental body based in the Solomon Islands. Since 1979, we have specialised in high-level policy leadership and technical expertise to secure and manage the region’s USD $3 billion annual tuna fisheries resource.

About the role

Lead the Fisheries Development Division to deliver the FFA Strategic Plan and Annual Work Programme. Supervise offshore fisheries development planning, economic analysis, and market access initiatives for 17 member nations. Manage donor-funded projects to drive sustainable regional economic growth.

Duties

1. Direct the Fisheries Development Division to execute the annual work programme and strategic plan.
2. Advise member countries on offshore fisheries development and high-level economic policy.
