Key Responsibilities

• Strategy

  • Provide independent Second Line of Defence (2LoD) oversight of the Group’s capital position, ensuring robustness of capital planning, distribution decisions, risk appetite calibration, and regulatory compliance, while delivering effective challenge to Treasury and first line stakeholders.
  • Provide independent 2LoD review and challenge of regulatory stress testing (e.g. ICAAP, BCST), ensuring robustness of methodologies, assumptions, and alignment with capital adequacy and risk appetite.

  • Lead monitoring and challenge of key capital ratios, clearly articulating drivers, trends, and emerging risks to senior stakeholders.
