Tell the Stories Behind the Mission

At the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, every animal has a story.

Some stories begin with hardship. Others begin with hope. Many end with a family finding their new best friend. Along the way, there are countless moments worth sharing, moments that inspire adoptions, encourage donations, recruit volunteers, and connect our community to the work we do every day.

We're looking for a talented Storyteller & Content Editor to help bring those stories to life. This is a role for someone who loves writing, notices the details others miss, and understands how a great story can make people stop scrolling, open an email, make a donation, or fall in love with an adoptable pet. You'll spend your days gathering stories from across the organization, interviewing staff, photographing animals, capturing video, writing content, ...
