A Carter Lumber Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various types of equipment and items.
This includes working on semis, trailers, skid-steers, forklifts, small equipment, and golf carts.
Occasionally, you'll also be responsible for small fabrication jobs.
A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position. Requirements:
- 3-5 years of comprehensive diesel maintenance experience, including diagnostics, preventative service, and component repair Must have a current valid driver's license; a CDL is a bonus.
- Some days may include traveling to get parts or make small roadside/offsite repairs.
