SUMMARY
+ Maintain and repair mobile equipment, including diesel-powered, gasoline-powered and electric vehicles, generators and auto shop equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, fuel, emission, brake, steering, and hydraulics.
+ Perform adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
+ Conduct regular vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts.
