Summary The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology provides clinical and technical support to perform a variety of cases under the direction of a physician (Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, Cardiologist, or Pain Management provider). They have knowledge and abilities to perform interventional procedures in accordance with policies and procedures defining preparation of radiological equipment and devices. Responsibilities Major duties include but not limited to: Assists with imaging during Operating Room and Pain Management cases and provides technical support for Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. Additional responsibilities include performing radiographic examinations within Diagnostic Imaging, such as general x-rays, operating room studies, and portable x-rays.
